First, we’d like to welcome Allan Rosenberg to the Garage Graphics family of artists. Allan has worked for Road & Track as well as Automobile Magazine shooting everything from new cars to Formula One and, along the way, has managed to photograph every Monterey Historic from its inception until the present. What a career! Take some time and check out Allan’s Automobile and Motorcycle galleries.
Now that John Straub’s show season has wound down he’s been busy adding new material to his already considerable collection of automotive fine art photography.
Seems like winter is hunker down time in the studio for illustrator David Townsend who’s just sent us a couple of his latest pieces—a truly remarkable illustration of a 1967 Repco-Brabham Formula One car, a Gurney signature edition of the LeMans winning Ford GT40 MKIV, and a gorgeous BMW 507. A full size, backlit version of the GT40 currently graces the All American Racers headquarters in Costa Mesa, California hanging next to David’s 1967 Gurney Eagle art.
Lastly, we have a spoiler alert on David’s next drawing—the Porsche 356A which will be available in coupe, cabriolet, and speedster version sometime in early December. So, stay tuned.
